When I finished reading the latest “Harry Potter, and the Half-Blood Prince” I felt that the way the characters had been depicted in the films & book illustrations didn’t completely match the images in my head. It was then I thought, “Hey, wait a minute I’m and artist, I could draw them myself!” These are a few of my attempts, and are closer to the pictures I see when I am in the middle of the books.
My name is Don Carson and I am an illustrator and designer working in the worlds of theme park, theatrical, and computer game design. Jumping around in these disciplines has given me some unique insights into the differences and similarities of each form of entertainment. This is a forum for me to chronicle some of my random observations and lessons learned along the way.

Your cards look like people we know. The first one is an older Kevin Brown, the second one is a young you, the third one is Mark Lewis, and the fourth on is Tim Kirk!

Gosh, I don't know... but I did always think that the middle elf in the Christmas Card (posted above) looked an awful lot like Steve Kirk?
