Hansel & Gretel Set Production

I have been asked to design the sets for the Eugene Opera’s production of Hansel & Gretel (www.eugeneopera.com ). The sets are just now being painted, so I thought I would add some update photos that illustrate the project’s progress.


This is the “Witch’s Cottage” which is meant to resemble a giant cup cake covered in candies that would be easily recognized by a young audience.


This is the completed ginger bread fence that flanks the Witch’s Cottage, which is made of the unfortunate children that have been bewitched by the Witch’s magical oven.
