Hansel & Gretel Set Continued...

This is a picture of Hansel & Gretel’s house at the beginning of the opera. It is, in contrast and color, the complete opposite of the Witch’s Cottage to come in Act Two.

It’s the eleventh hour and the midnight oil is being liberally burned to get the set ready to be loaded up in the trucks tomorrow morning. Seeing the set on its back in a warehouse will never give you a complete picture of what it will look like once hung, so final touches will be added early next week.

A flat of a flying witch will fly between the trees in Act One.
